Design a media center that is spacious, modern, and—above all—safe, while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and innovation among students.

HOW

The elevated, modern look of the new media center was complemented by a striking glass railing system, designed to create a sense of openness while maintaining safety and structure. Our team at South Jersey Glass and Door was honored to be part of this project, bringing our expertise from our Frameless Specialty Glass Department and Installation to elevate the space for the students.

Collaboration and Expertise

The design of the staircase and railing layout was created by the talented team at Garrison Architect. W.J. Gross served as the general contractor on the project, ensuring that everything was executed with precision and care.

Safety was central to the design of the glass railings. Our experts worked diligently to ensure that the glass panels were not only visually striking but also securely installed to provide maximum stability. These railings were carefully selected to withstand the pressures and wear of a busy, active school environment. Given that the railings needed to provide both functionality and safety, we selected a system that was frameless yet durable, meeting all building codes while preserving the sleek, modern aesthetic of the space.

RESULT

This installation at Cumberland Regional High School marks a significant milestone in our company's history. This project demonstrates not only the growth of our capabilities but also our commitment to supporting local school districts.
